Babywearing workshop
Every 2nd Sunday

Babywearing is a great way to keep your little one close and stay handsfree! In this class we'll cover the many different types of carriers and how to use them safely. A selection of all major kinds of carriers will be available to try on, from wraps and ring slings to soft structured carriers such as Ergo and Tula.

About the instructor: Brook Cook has been babywearing since 2004 when her oldest was born, and continues to wear her littlest (who is not so little anymore!). She provides babywearing instruction to her doula clients, and has been a volunteer babywearing educator with Babywearing International for 5 1/2 years.




Weekly Breastfeeding Support Group
Every Monday 12:30 - 2PM
Drop-ins welcome


Join other new moms and a facilitating Breastfeeding USA Councilor and doula to get advice and tips for success; share your experience and make meaningful connections.

Seeking support in the early days of breastfeeding is an important step if you or your baby are having a difficult time.  We welcome breastfeeding babies of any age. 

While we do hope that this group fosters strong relationships among mothers, we ask attendees to please be mindful of the breastfeeding focus while present.

An infant scale is available for weighted feedings.




New Mom Group
Every Wednesday, 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Drop-ins welcome 

Come connect with other mothers and their little ones in a super cozy environment!  This group serves to bring moms with kids to talk about all things postpartum and baby.  This group is casual and unstructured, and is just what you need when you want to get out of the house and socialize with other moms in a safe, judgement free space.  Ask questions and meet other local moms.

Interested in cloth diapers? Our free cloth diaper workshop features a short presentation on each of the cloth diaper systems. We provide information on laundry care and the daily routine involved with each diapering method so you feel prepared and ready to begin with cloth!

Blossoming Bellies: Group Childbirth Preparation Class
3 week series (meets once per week for two hours).

May 9th thru 23rd, (THURSDAYS) 6:30 to 8:30pm
July 16th thru 30th (TUESDAYS), 6:30 to 8:30pm
September 5th thru 19th (THURSDAYS), 6:30 to 8:30pm

$215 per couple. $50 deposit

A Blossoming Bellies birth class is interactive and hands-on. We cover the emotional and physical process of labor, the role of interventions and how to navigate through that, pelvic bodywork and baby positioning, medical pain relief options and hands-on comfort measures, relaxation techniques and more, all with the goal of helping parents feel supported, confident, and aware of the many options and resources available to them.





Family & Friends CPR Training
Every 1st Sunday, 10am-12noon

This Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of child CPR with breaths, child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in a child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, 
new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.


  • Applies AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which  improves learning and retention
  • Classroom format works well for learners who prefer group interaction and feedback while learning skills
  • Each student receives high-quality course materials for ongoing reference




Born With Love Birth Services: Navigating Your Hospital Birth
Every 1st Wednesday
2 hour Class $50 per couple, $25 deposit

This class is for expectant couples who would like to take the lead in their Hospital Birth Experience and who already have knowledge of the birth process. Facilitated by Marcella DeRosa, a seasoned doula who draws from her experience to deliver helpful information to have a positive birth experience in a hospital setting. In class we will discuss the labor process as it relates to the hospital, common hospital procedures and policies at every stage of labor, hospital recommendations for induction, augmentation of labor and c-section, tips for avoiding common interventions, induction methods, making informed choices and communicating well with hospital staff. You will leave this class better prepared to take on the challenges that arise often in birth or avoid them all together. 




Breastfeeding 101 (prenatal class)

Cost: $35 per couple

"Breastfeeding 101," a comprehensive two hour workshop, covers the basics of milk production, how to know that your baby is getting enough, proper positioning and latch for successful nursing, possible complications and their resolutions, common breastfeeding misconceptions, and information on storing and expressing milk.  Individual concerns are also addressed and techniques and tips to ease the nursing relationship are shared.

Come share your pregnancy and birth experiences in a safe and caring environment. At our Birth Circle you will be able to discuss and process your birth experience with other moms, as well as contribute and gain support from the group as a whole. Topics often include VBAC support, postpartum support and the birth experience. This meeting is open and free of charge. Lap babies welcome. Older children welcome with an additional caretaker.
